It's Go Time!

Anybody want to hear the new song?

We here at the Scare have a present for you.

Earlier than scheduled, we are going to treat you with a sliver of what's to come, by posting one of our long awaited new songs. You know, the 'new' songs we recorded in 2006 and 2007 and have been waiting to release? Brand new. Totally.

Anyway, we aren't going to release this bad boy until the beginning of 2009.

But, it's gonna cost you.

If you help us rack up them 'space hits, that will help determine how soon in 2009 we post the song. So repost a bulletin, make a blog, hell, tell a friend with your own mouth. Remember word of mouth? I think it was what dinosaurs used to build up hype, in a land long before the internet.

So spread the word.

It's fucking go time.

Summer of George!

Hey internets,

Thanks to everyone who braved the rain last Sunday. I definitely almost killed myself and many other motorists on 95 to get there. Maybe if I had killed a few of 'em, I'd have gotten there quicker.

Anyway, we're back in locker rooms, studying our playbooks. We've got some things up our sleeves this summer!

- Our new drummer Jack, who I hope some of you met. He used to play in Alleged Bricks a few years ago.

- Finally, new songs! We're getting them fine-tuned, and are getting them out there ASAP to you guys, no matter what.

- Some possible shows in some of our favorite locations!

We'll shoot you (s)updates asap.

What are your summer plans?

Supdate

Hey Internet,

In case anyone reads this, here's an update.

We're getting stoked for our show at the Black Cat in May. We'll have drummer numero quatro for you guys to check out, and give us your thoughts on! Hopefully you dig him!

Otherwise, this would usually be the part where I update you about the new songs from the Phantom Pains split that isn't happening. Well, the songs are getting remixed and we will get them to you as soon as that's done, with or without any help from anyone.

As for the future, we are getting back to fucking business and writing for our full length again! It's exciting actually, that after half a year of drummers, we're picking it up again. I can't tell you how much it slows that process down to learn new songs with a new band member, only to have that creation ultimately aborted. Well, don't you worry friends. It's business time.

Thrashin', Bloggin'.

Alright, y'all. Blogs up.

So I decided that Myspace isn't going to rule our lives.

Here's the haps, friends:

We're figuring out this drummer situation. Our last one was pulled away by the big man upstairs (his words), so we are delaying like crazy with these new songs we keep promising. Some of you might have peeped them live in our area recently, or on our super homemade video. We've been working on how to get these songs to you, since our former labelmates, the Phantom Pains, pulled the plug on their end of the split 7" that was supposed to be in your hands and on your turntables already.

We'll figure it out, soon son!

In the meantime, we're stoked about this Revelation Records tribute comp that we're going to be a part of. Read on

Anyway. Stay tuned, scared, and aroused.

We'll be hanging tight with Modern Life is War in RVA for their farewell tour.
